Ask three questions
Has the market environment changed? Did execution differ from the rules? Is the original strategy hypothesis still supported?
Define stopping conditions first
Decide when to pause before running the strategy. Do not repeatedly loosen limits after losses.
Record exceptions
Keep a log of disconnects, slippage, rejected orders and manual intervention.
