What is missing
Closed profit is not the full account result. Open positions, fees and deposits or withdrawals can change the interpretation.
Establish the basis
Separate live results, simulations and backtests. Record the observation period and cash flows before making comparisons.
Bring risk into view
Read equity, drawdown and open exposure together. One profitable day cannot establish long-term effectiveness.
